The latest and one of the most important developments of Palmball happened in 2012 by the introduction of a new ball, replacing a harder and much smaller one. The new ball is soft, about 6cm in diameter and can be found at local sport shops.

At present, the association is helping especially educational institutions in setting up

palmball clubs, and providing tournament organisers with Palmball-kit, namely:

1- The impact sensitive target-board.

2- The software for the electronic counter.
